I strive to inspire a lifelong love for music in every student, nurturing their artistic growth while helping them recognize music’s power in promoting social unity, transcending cultural boundaries, and shaping a more compassionate world. A core tenet of my teaching is that inherent artistry resides in every individual; I foster each student’s full potential by encouraging personal expression, unleashing their creativity, and cultivating a genuine love and admiration for music. Through a supportive learning environment grounded in strong fundamentals and joyful exploration, my students develop not only musical skills, but also independence, empathy, and the ability to connect with others and contribute meaningfully within their communities, ultimately becoming well‑rounded individuals who thrive artistically and personally.

I have worked with learners of all ages, experiences, and backgrounds, from young beginners to high‑school and college musicians, teaching general music alongside both group and individualized flute instruction. I also support young musicians in ensemble settings, performing alongside them while leading studio classes and facilitating sectionals. Additionally, I have founded and co‑directed flute ensembles, providing private lessons, leading rehearsals, selecting repertoire, and conducting concerts. Across all of these settings, I guide students through every stage of their musical development, from building foundational skills and learning piccolo to preparing for school ensembles, state auditions, youth orchestra placements, and competitive college or conservatory applications.
